We’ve recently moved into our new apartment (yay!) and for weeks now, I’ve been trying to think of space saving ways to store, organize and display everything.
With the way our little kitchen is designed, everything is meant to be hidden away in cupboards. I love this idea as clutter can tend to make a space feel small, however, our 20cm wide narrow pantry I’ve found to be quite a nuisance. It’s been a pain to store and retrieve things. I realized that I needed to somewhere else to store things which I regularly use which is easy to access without having to move too many things around. We do have 3 shelves which I thought would work, however whatever I put there should not only serve a purpose, but also look nice. After a quick Pinterest browse, of “kitchen organization”, I found myself looking at beautifully organized pantry. Like, ridiculously good looking pantries, complete with matching containers and pretty labels. I wanted my own mini inexpensive version so I recycled some sauce jars and created my own labels. The labels I used were the Avery Crystal Clear Rectangle labels and downloaded the matching word template so that I could create and print as many labels as I needed.
I LOVE the result so much that I am now slowly purchasing matching containers for the cupboards. Who knew how motivating matching labels could be?
